Prospector Park in the Folsom Plan Area south of Highway 50 lies adjacent to Mangini Ranch Elementary School and is the first park in this newly developing area.
The 11.8-acre site features lighted youth baseball and soccer fields, lighted basketball, volleyball, and tennis courts, play structures and a zipline, a dog park, a group picnic pavilion, restrooms, and parking. An extensive central open space area was graded to provide bio-retention with meandering walkways and passive seating.
